The University of the Philippines-Information Technology Training Center (UP-ITTC), Department of Computer Sciences (DCS), UP System I.T. Foundation (UP SITF), and the Y4IT Student Volunteer Corps in cooperation with the Philippine Society of I.T. Educators (PSITE), Computing Society of the Philippines (CSP), and the Philippine Computer Society (PCS) will conduct the Philippine Youth Congress in Information Technology (Y4IT). The activity will be held on September 10-15, 2012 simultaneously at three (3) locations: the UP Theater, UP Film Institute for the Main Event and Bahay ng Alumni for Y4IT Sponsors Exhibit, in UP-Diliman, Quezon City.
On its 10th year of successful gathering the largest number of college students, professionals, and enthusiasts in I.T. from all over the Philippines, the Y4IT aims to introduce current ICT trends, to provide knowledge sources for the youth, and to open learning and career opportunities in ICT.
Each participant shall be charged a registration fee of Six Hundred Pesos (PhP600.00). For the bulk/group and early bird, the fee is Five Hundred Fifty Pesos (PhP550.00) per participant inclusive of a.m. and p.m. snacks, Y4IT congress kit, bag, Y4IT freebies, and daily raffle.
