Manufacturer: Amodel Serial number: 72039 Scale: 1/72 Material: Plastic / decal (sticker) Kit description: Unpainted, Unassembled, Kit do not contain paints and glue Condition: New in Box Length model: 500 mm / 19,68 inches Martin Mars is a four-engine flying boat, developed in 1938-1943 by the order of the US Navy as a ""flying dreadnought"" - a distant ocean patrol aircraft. In 1945-1947, five serial ""Mars"" were put into service with the US Navy. JRM-3Model 170B, conversion of the remaining four JRM-1s re-engined with 2,400 hp Wright R3350-24WA engines turning 16 ft, 8 in Curtiss-Electric props, of which the inboard two engines were fitted with reversible-pitch devices.
