AND BOX This is a miniature German made doll in her original box and still attached by thread around the neck. She is stamped Germany on the base of 1 foot and I believe is dressed in a Greek costume so perhaps made for the Tourist market. I believe this doll would date to somewhere between the 1920's - 1930's era. The doll itself measures approximately 10cm in height and appears to be made from a plaster type material and then painted. The arms and legs are jointed. The original cardboard box is for its age in very good condition and features a ""leather look"" pattern. The inner edge has paper lace around it. A beautiful example of an early National Doll completely original and in excellent condition.
