ALSA OSS Emulation won't work

ALSA OSS Emulation won't work Ok I spend the last 4 hours or so trying to get this to work, without any success :(

"You could try the pulseaudio oss emulation by running padsp xvidcap.

record-my-desktop works quite well with jackd, but I have not tried it with other audio frameworks."
