iPad 2 touch screen not working after digitizer replacement

Before you start blaming the motherboard make sure the connections are pushed all the way into the connectors and retaining clips pushed down if it is then most likely a faulty screen

I tried replacing digitizer on the iPad 2. After restarting the lower part of the screen seems to be irresponsive, while rest of the screen is working. Hence the problem is getting the onboard key pad to work. Please let me know what i could be doing wrong while replacing digitizer screen"

I’ve attached a photo of the white lines that need to be pushed in right up to the host connector.
