Is there a way to default the 'Folders' section in the vista windows explorer to be collapsed?

Is there a way to default the 'Folders' section in the vista windows explorer to be collapsed? When I open a new windows explorer window, I would like the 'Folders' sections on the left to be collapsed by default, so that the 'Favorite Links' section has maximum room.

"You might try this to change the default explorer action to ""open"":

Open regedit & navigate to: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell
Double-click the (Default) value on
the right-hand pane and set its value to ""open"" (without quotes)."
