My monitor screen is black on my Nikon D5300

My monitor screen is black on my Nikon D5300 My screen on my Nikon d53 nook00 is black. It will not turn on. I can't see any of my setting, menu or anything on it. It does take pictures still. Has anyone else had this problem or know what it may be.

Have you tried resetting the camera to factory default settings? You may have inadvertently changed settings

Solved. I replaced the display driver glued on to the back of the display. Et voila! The display works perfectly!!!
