Replacement screen has digitizer, but no LCD

Replacement screen has digitizer, but no LCD

I ordered a replacement screen for the Garmin Vivoactive HR, and it arrived with a clear digitizer, with 2 ribbon cables, but no LCD. My original LCD is working, it is the digitizer that cracked. Can I separate my LCD from the original broken digitizer and use the LCD, or was I sent something less than I should have been?
