Replacing soldered in battery

Replacing soldered in battery

I have the newer Logitech K800 wireless keyboard which no longer has replaceable rechargeable batteries. The Battery compartment has the same cover has the older style but no access to the battery compartment. I believe the battery is now soldered to the motherboard. Has anybody pulled apart this newer keyboard and replaced the rechargeable battery.

No need for soldering - the battery plugs in. Here is the link:https://manuals.plus/logitech/logitech-k...

"My keyboard indicated that the battery would not charge after a year of use, so I used it with a USB cable and it worked just fine but was no longer wireless. After a couple of months, I discovered that the battery had somehow recovered and remains working. I hope that it will keep working for as long as possible because it really is a nice keyboard. I was in no mood to take the keyboard apart and locate a new battery; don’t give up hope.

Certainly, Logitech made a mistake and most likely lost a lot of sales as well as fans of their brand. This sort of thing, which is often found in various products makes one wonder about who makes such stupid mistakes when designing products. There is too much completion out there; people can and will go elsewhere when they need something like a keyboard."
