Shutting down when 'cold'

I have the same problem, and I have been told by and experienced Mac serviceman that this could be the sign of a faulty Graphical card, that in my case was replaced 2 years ago. Could it be faulty/aged soldering in the GPU card only works properly above a certain temperature?
