The camera will not turn on.

The camera will not turn on. I am turning of off/on switch, but the camera is still not turning on. I also can't find the compartment where the batteries go.

"Look at the bottom of the camera for the battery compartment. Slide arrow to open it and put batteries in it in correct position.
