touch doesn’t work after screen replacement

I have an Apple Watch series 1 and I cracked the screen almost 2 years ago and I just got around to replacing the screen and decided to do a battery while I was in there. The buttons work at first but touch does not so I force reset the watch and then the buttons don’t work but still work to force reset it, still no touch or raise to wake
