"@gwenr Error F21 is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a “SUDS” error may also be displayed. This may be an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. Unplug your machine for 1/2 hour to see if the CCU will reset. If that is without result check the drain hose for kinks or if it is clogged. After that check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running. Finally remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris like missing socks etc. remove the drain plug from the filter at the water pump.
1. Take off the lower front panel.Remove the bottom front access panel just remove the 3 Torx screws on front bottom of machine. Slightly lift the panel and pull the bottom towards you
2. Turn the pump filter cover counter-clockwise by hand and remove. Place a bucket or pan underneath it since you will get a lot of stinky, dirty water spilling out of there. Removing the filter should remove all water from your washer."
Hi, we were having the same issue and followed your advice above and works every time, my question is why is it I have to unplug and wait for approx 1 hr for a reset? it’s happening more and more especially I feel on heavier loads (not sure just what I believe I’m observing) Should I just replace the pump or possibly a sensor one female friend told me, I have had several bad experiences with repairmen and if I cant do this myself I will get a new washer.
I followed instructions and it works…. Thank you so much…. I have ordered the new washer but it will not ready until 3 days later than I thought to search online. Glad I did…..
