Why won't my samsung galaxy tab 6 rotate screen when in kindle book app?

My kindle books suddenly are stuck in landscape position. I have my device on rotate and there is no place when in the book to press to lock or unlock. Everything else rotates correctly and I can lock in portrait mode but through book pages will not rotate. Help!
