Drain pump does not activate at the end of a cycle

Drain pump does not activate at the end of a cycle

The drain pump on my dishwasher does not activate at the end of a cycle, and you need to press cancel in order for the drain pump to run, does anybody have any idea on how to fix this or why this is happening?
