Games only playing in up position

Games only playing in up position After replacing a 72 pin connector the system will not read the game when pushed down. I will read perfect in the up position. Any ideas on what could be happening?

That is a little weird. I do believe that it has to do something with the patent on the way that the item is created or manufactured. When you push the game down the cartridge contacts actually level out this also causes a slight upward push from the carrier tray. This I believe allows the contacts to lose their connection to the game board on the underside. What I would possibly look at is to see if you could modify or bring forward those other pins on the bottom a little higher to make the contact connection on the other side when you do push the game down on the carrier tray.
