How do I fix my DS Lite wires in the hinge?

How do I fix my DS Lite wires in the hinge? Hello, my brother broke my Nintendo DS Lite hinge.In the hinge there is a ribbon wire that is orange and has wires going through it. This ripped and now when I turn on my DS, the bottom screen just flashes and goes back off. Please help.

Guy, check on where the ribbon cable comes from. Use these guides DS Lite Repair to disassemble your DS. Post an image of your damaged wire and the location. It is most likely the ribbon cable from the upper LCD. You can repair that by replacing your upper LCD. Here is Here is the guide for that. Hope this helps, good luck.

If the ribbon cable is ripped, it is most likely not fixible. If you know of a repair shop that fixes game consoles, ask them. Otherwise, it is probably not replaceable.

open the ds and change the upper screen you can buy the screen at ebay or amazon or you can take an older console and take it out!!!!
