I have a 96 goldwing se that I can not get out of reverse.

I have a 96 goldwing se that I can not get out of reverse.

My 96 Goldwing will not come out of reverse. There are no moving parts stuck in any place. The bike is in neutral, and the reverse will not disengage or and the bike will not start. Any advice for this problem?
