Keeps turning off, says low battery

Keeps turning off, says low battery I am using it now with a Prius C which is a hybrid. Is it turning off because when the car is stopped there is no power or could it be the battery or the USB connection?

Probably a bad battery, I've seen this many times, it is usually caused by the gps being left on charge all the time and being over charged which destroys the battery. They can be changed with a little work (usually a soldering iron is required) and the battery should be available on ebay/aliexpress. Good luck.
