Reboot loop! Factory reset didn't work!

Reboot loop! Factory reset didn't work!

Suddenly, after 1 year and 6 months since its purchase, my phone stopped working properly. I was pressing the power off button to unlock the screen, but it didn't work...after a while it opened by its own and I was able to use it properly but I couldn't lock it again!

"1) download the firmware by below link

http://consumer.huawei.com/en/mobile-pho...

2) Copy it to SD card and rename the folder to DLOAD

3) Boot to recovery mode : Vol down + power

4) Update the firmware

Note : data will be lost"

"The link for the firmware in Buddhika Mahesh post appears to be working now. If you still can't get it to download try the link below, it is a direct link to the zip file from Huawei.

Android 4.2,Emtion UI,V100R001C00B111,General Version (Newest Version)

This is the previous release if you would rather try it instead.

Android 4.2,Emtion UI,V100R001C00B107,General Version (Previous Release)

Download one of these and then complete steps 2-4 from Buddika's post."
