"ifixit nexus 6 teardown Nexus 6 Teardown

You can do your replacement as the steps from step 4 to step 6, and then step 10. Remember to release LCD screen connector before remove screen from motherboard."

Hi feras, how was the screen repair going? Motorola is charging me $280 dollars for fixing the screen, my answer would be no way. But, I have to fix it eventually.

Unfortunately, due to the screen being so thin a new digitizer must be bought with the screen.

"It should be easy if the back light is sealed like Samsung phones. I could do it if I had one.

Anyone want to donate their broken LCD to me lol?

I got invited to Project Fi so I think I might end up buying a cracked one and fixing it."

It is possible to repair just the glass but I would rather leave it to the professionals. Would you rather spend $80 or $200 if you ended up breaking the LCD screen by doing it yourself? The chances are very high in breaking the LCD screen if you are a novice, because it is very difficult on this Nexus 6. I found a company on eBay that can do it for a very reasonable price: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Nexus-6-Motorola...
