Troy built pony will start when jumping the solenoid but not with key.

Troy built pony will start when jumping the solenoid but not with key.

I put in a new starter solenoid, and ignition key. I tried jumping the two wires from the solenoid to the ignition and no luck. I checked the safety switches and the three look ok. I bench tested the solenoid and when I put power to it it clicks.
