Why can't I download any more apps?

Why can't I download any more apps?

I have an LG Optimus Hub android phone. My problem is that every time I try to download apps from play store I get a message saying 'insufficient internal memory'. I have tried to clear as much internal memory as possible by deleting other apps and moving some to my 32Gb Sd card but I still get the same message. I hardly have any apps in my phone!!!

"Hi! This sometimes happens to me on my own phone. The two solutions are to either migrate some of the data (photos, music, downloads, etc.) from your internal storage to your SD card, or move apps from your internal storage to SD card.

I'd recommend getting a file manager from the play store to see what is taking up so much space on your internal storage. This file manager should do the trick. Once you have that installed you can look in your Downloads, Music, and DCIM (pictures) folders and see if there are any large files that you can delete. If there is a large group of music, pictures, etc. that you don't want to delete, but don't want on your internal storage, you can use the file manager to move them. This can be done by long pressing the folder/file name, selecting ""move"" from the options, and then navigating to the SD card and selecting ""paste"".

Here's a list of YouTube videos that explain how to do this. Videos.

This video in particular should be helpful for moving both files and apps to your SD card. Video

Hope it works out!"

"What worked for me:

1)Go to Manage Applications

2)Select Google Play Services

3) Force Stop & clear data

4)go back

5)select Google Play Store

6)Force Stop & clear data & then : UNINSTALL UPDATES

reboot your phone

et Voila!"

"Hi lauren marlow,

Try the following

Go to Menu > Settings > scroll down to and tap Apps. Swipe on right side to the ‘All’ tab and scroll down and look first for Download Manager. Tap to enter then Tap Clear Cache return to the home screen and then try to download something. If it still doesn’t work try Clear Data in Download Manager.

Next, return to the ‘All’ tab and look for Google Play Store, Tap to enter then tap Clear the cache and restart your device. You should be able to download an app now.

"Hi @Debbie Johnson

Here is a link which explains perhaps why you are getting this request. If you are trying to download free apps that is.

The phone must be clear cached and factory reset. Take all pics and videos off, and remove the SD card too. Then see if their are any UPDATES that may alleviate the storage issue. Then carefully add back most important to least the apps you want to keep. Try to MOVE them to SD card as much as possible. As a last resort take the phone back if the issue persists. There is another work around from the YOUTUBE or internet where you can convert the SD card INTO the Internal Storage, but that is a RISKY one, because you can brick the phone or mess up the SD from being used again by another SD card.
