Why cant I do a hard reset to the screen to unlock screen locks and passcodes

If you have a passcode on the iPod, you need to remember it... Also, posting the question twice with hardly any information really doesn't help... But try going into "Extras" then to "Screen Lock" and then reset the passcode. Hope that helps...
