Why is my condensation catcher always overflowing?

Why is my condensation catcher always overflowing?

Each time I use my rice cooker the water that builds up in the condensation catcher ends up overflowing and causing a small puddle next to my device.

It sounds like your steam vents maybe clogged or blocked. At the top of your device their is 5 little slits in the plastic. These are used to help release steam from the device while it is cooking if blocked the excess is forced to condense into your condensation unit causing the over flow. So to prevent the overflow make sure the vents aren't blocked in anyway.

"Hi Jonathan,

I don’t have this problem, but I have a question about this particular model. Do you happen to know where I can get the specs on the thermister that is in this model? My problem is that the cooking cycle ends before the rice is fully cooked. I suspect that the thermister has failed, but I have no way to tell what the characteristics are, and thus, what to replace it with. Any ideas?
