36 volts hooked up to 12 volt system. Now won’t run My sister hooked up a 36 volt golf cart to my 98 dodge Dakota 3.9 v6. It started throwing sparks, headlights flashed, horn blasted and wipers turned on. Now it will start and run before about 3-5 seconds before shutting down. Even while giving it gas. What blew?
