Black screen, no sound tuck on green LED

Black screen, no sound tuck on green LED Updated channels list came up on screen - I pressed a button to dismiss and the tv went black. Green LED stuck on - sounds like it is trying to click itself on and off occasionally. Tried most of the internet answers, unplugging etc - left overnight. Still nothing . ANSWERS:
