raymond mancino that sounds like a bad audio IC. Those are usually located on the main board. Since we do not know the model of your TV etc. I suggest that you start looking at the main board and check for obvious damage. The only other things you can try is a quick reflow of the IC or replace the main board and see if that makes a difference. Of course, make sure that your speakers are okay and the the wiring is ok as well.
