Can battery be transferred to a iPod Classic 120GB?
I have a 5th gen. iPod Video (30GB) with a good battery, and a 6th gen. iPod Classic (120GB) with a bad battery, and I was wondering if I can swap them without any issue, that is to say put the 30GB battery into the 120GB iPod and have it fit and function properly without any modifications.
ANSWERS:
No you cannot. The battery is thicker and will put to much pressure on the LCD which will subsequently crack. Those batteries are not very expensive, replace it with an original and avoid trouble
