Firestick and HDMI connector to old TV just Stopped working

The TV comes on with wide verticle colors stripes, probably a test pattern, but the firestick will not respond. I have unplugs all podts into TV as well as from Firestick and adapter. I have also unplugged from power strip with no results. I do not have any cable channels or any local TV. Only what I get through Amazon Prime and the Firestick.
