Fridge stopped running, I turned something now works-why?!
Our 10 year old whirlpool fridge quit running. Stuff started melting, we emptied it. I was cleaning it thinking we’re getting a new one... turned the cooling dial down because that’s what I do when I defrost and clean my little fridge I have in my classroom before the summer starts (I’m a teacher). When I turned the dial to be less cool, the motor (or something?) kicked on!!! A little while later I turned the dial to make it even colder and it’s working. What could have been wrong? Do you think it will break again? Is it not reliable anymore?
