Light on water dispenser won't turn off

Light on water dispenser won't turn off I have a F&P fridge over freezer with a water dispenser on the front and the light won’t turn off. We haven’t used this water function for 18 months due to no water line to the fridge. Only happened today. Any ideas??

"It should have two micro switches, one for the water and one for the ice maker. Check the water dispenser switch and make sure its not stuck closed, you should be able to push it in with your finger and it should pop back out when you release it.

Of course this may also be caused by having no water going to it."

I have a Frigidaire 27 cu.ft. Gallery ,side by side door over freezer refrigerator with water and ice dispenser on the left door.The dispenser LED lights stayed on continuously.Solved the problem by turning off 120 volt power to the refrigerator ,not on the door controls. This total removal of power reset the system and the light works as originally provided.I left the power off for 5 minutes just to assure enough resetting occurred.
