When first started flow seems OK, then slows down.

ANSWERS:

Did you make sure the water valve is fully open if so maybe if you aren't using your dishwasher during use of your laundry washer would help try to have low water consumption during the use of your washer. Is the hose into the washer kinked? Is it on the right settings? Let me know if this helps, Good Luck!
