My LG 47LA6200 TV won't turn on stand by light only comes on briefly

My LG 47LA6200 TV won't turn on stand by light only comes on briefly Hello I have a LG 47la6200 that I had in storage for a couple months. When I plug it in the standby light comes on but then turns back off within a few seconds. The TV won't turn on at all. Would a new power supply fix this? ANSWERS:
