no sound - my on off switch blinks dimly only
My power button is dim and blinks only when turned on - no sound at all

"andy.milot without seeing the device (main/power board etc. it is hard to determine what is going on. If it has worked for your before but started recently with the issues then I would start off by replacing the battery. Low power can/will prevent it from coming on and working properly. If that does not resolve you will have to disassemble it and check the power board.
