Panasonic Viera TX-48AX630B will not turn on.

Panasonic Viera TX-48AX630B will not turn on.

Panasonic Viera TX-48AX630B, 3 years old have had no issues with it until now, will not turn on from remote, tried new batteries. When I turn on from the On button on the TV the power led gives approx 13 fast green flashes then turns red and flashes red every 4 seconds. When it is flashing the 13 times the screen does attempt to turn on but fails. Tried new power cord and all the power cycle tricks to no avail. Advice on which board or part needs replacing would be good, I have taken the back off and there are no signs of blown capacitors or any other issues.

ANSWERS:

"Hi @robjob ,

Here’s a link to the service manual for the TV.

According to the Power LED blinking Timing chart on p.22, for 13 blinks you need to check the A board.

On p.12 of the manual you’ll find the voltage reference test points for the A board.

There are also full schematics of the boards and a parts list which may be of some help."
