power light turns on but no picture or sound
I have a LG TV 55lw5600 power light turns on but no picture or sound
ANSWERS:
Johnny Diaz first unplug the power cord, wait for 10 seconds, and then plug it back in. If the status LED is lit, try to turn on the TV using the power switch on the unit, not on the remote. If that does not work remove the back from your TV (after you unplug it). Use your meter to check out your power board. For that you will have to plug it in and try to turn it on. Check the fuses as well as the connector for the cable to the main board. Check what voltage you show on the STBY connection.
