replaced transmission, now my speedo isnt working, abs light is on.

replaced transmission, now my speedo isnt working, abs light is on. recently changed the transmission in my 2000 suburban, now the speedo is not working, abs light is on. Will not go into third, feels like the back tires are locking up. any ideas of what could be wrong?
