Samsung TV has sound but picture is only visible with a flashlight

Samsung TV has sound but picture is only visible with a flashlight Help please. I'm pretty sure our son left our tv on for several days. Now we get sound but we can only see the picture if we hold a flashlight up to the tv. Is there something we can do to fix this or do we need to send it to a repair shop? ANSWERS:
