Shattered screen repair myself or
I was given a VIZIO model e55-e2 but while moving it I shattered the screen I'm trying to get it fixed but don't know if I can use the warranty if I'm not the one who purchased it

the only one that can verify the warranty would be Vizio. You would have to contact them. It will be difficult to find a proper panel and it will most likely cost you more than a new TV would. Remove the back from your TV and take a look at the label on the panel. Use the model number on that to search for a replacement. The only other way would be to find a TV with the same panel as yours but that is otherwise broken. Then harvest the panel from that one. To replace the actual panel is not as bad as trying to find a replacement"
