Sony Bravia XBR bottom of screen has lines
All of a sudden the bottom third of my screen has multi-colored lines on it. This occurs when I watch TV with my DirecTv connection and if I watch a DVD but it does not show up if I watch Netflix or click on the Home screen when I was trying to troubleshoot.

try a new cable and change the input to different areas i.e. cable connected to HDMI 1 change to HDMI 2 etc. Then see what you get. It is possible that this is a mainboard issue but it will depend if you have the same error on any device at a specific input connector."
