What causes my fridge side to be warm while my freezer stays cold,

What causes my fridge side to be warm while my freezer stays cold, I have a GE artica side by side model PSC25NSTASS the freezer will stay near 0 degrees F while the fridge side is 45-50 degrees F. The evaporators do not seem to be icing up and all the air passages look open.
