"Inside the transmission is a gear selector, it sounds like a valve plunger that directs oil pressure has came out of the selector, you may need to remove the valve body to get access to this valve. The selector is the item that when you move your gear shift, it stops in each location, P, R, N, D, 1, what ever your gear range is. If you are lucky, you just put it back in place, if it literally broke, then maybe a little extra work and a part involved. Do a search for your transmission rebuild on YouTube.

THis valve is not moved where it needs to go so all the oil pressure goes only to forward gears, can you shift manually to 1, then 2, then 3 and the transmission is in the actual gear that you selected manually? Maybe you cannot force it into 1 or 2?"
