When I turn on no sound and picture is all yellow and white stripes

I have a flat screen TV worked really great turned it off one night and next day turned it on it had no sound at first was a line green screen now just a yellow and white striped screen can't get any channels or any TV menu to do anything just the on and off button on side by hand cannot even do anything by remote on able to turn it off and on
