Why is my check engine light not working correctly
When I try to jump terminals a an d b on my aldl the light flashes a code 12 one time should be three times in a row then the light seems to not flash very good some times it will read past the code 12 to a code 34 then same thing light does not flash good the light is strong when I pull the jumper wire out then I plug the wire back in to read the codes and same result as above any ideas I have changed just about every sensor under the hood now changed the computer today runs alot better but still has intermittent idle issues but got power back by changing computer after changing computer check engine light came on so when I jumped terminals a and b same problem with the light not flashing correctly light does work and comes on when driving and when key is first turned light is bright so don't think it could be the bulb any ideas would be great running out of hair to pull out of my head 1989 chevy 1500 5.7 tbi
