Why is sensor for estimated time come on?!?

Why is sensor for estimated time come on?!?

I put clothes in the dryer that we’re too wet. In the morning there was about an inch of water at the bottom of the clothes I took them out and dried the dryer out. The wet button was lit. I opened the dryer and let it air out the wet button turned off. Then when I went to start the dryer the sensor estimated time button came on and dryer will not start. I unplugged to reset but still does same thing.
