Why will my Nvidia shield not work with my Samsung 75nu7100 series tv

Why will my Nvidia shield not work with my Samsung 75nu7100 series tv It works fine on other tv's but not the Samsung plug and play on 55in. Toshiba and shows extremely large picture on the Samsung ANSWERS:
