Why won’t my tv turn on?
The light blinks, Chromecast comes on and then the tv shuts off

@vwnako you need to let us know what model your TV is. Check your network connections etc. first. If everything is connected etc. then it is possible that this is caused by the TV not passing it’s own self test when powered up. That could be caused be pretty much any board and without checking them individually etc. pretty tough to answer. So for that you would have to remove the back from your TV and do a quick visual inspection of the boards. Check for anything that looks different . Things like missing, charred or expanded components. You can always post images of your boards with your question. Now Toshiba is a company that is absolutely horrible with support. You will not get any schematics etc. from them since they are not the least bit interested in assisting to get their merchandise repaired. They are pretty much as fanatical as Apple and will do anything they can to prevent any DIY repair. Just a heads up that this may become an issue during this repair.
