Is Mephedrone illegal?

Mephedrone which is also known as "methylmethcathinone" was reported illegal in some countries such as in Israel (2008), Sweden (2009), in European countries (2010), Australia, New Zealand, and in USA (2011).

When used, it has the same effects with MDMA or "ecstasy", cocaine or amphetamines. Some reported that several people have died after using mephedrone.
