Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) approves East West Banking Corporation's issuance of Long Term Negotiable Certificates of Time Deposits

In August 23, 2012, the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) approves the East West Banking Corporation's request to issue Long Term Negotiable Certificates of Time Deposits (LTNCDs) as disclosed on May 31, 2012.
The issue size is up to PhP5 billion, with minimum deposits of PhP50,000.00 and in increments of PhP10,000.00 and with a minimum maturity of five years and one day, up to a maximum of five years and six months from the issue date.

Issue date will be subject to the agreement between East West Bank and its arranger, Unicapital, Inc. Interest is on a fixed rate basis with rate subject to prevailing market conditions.
